Here at Charleton, we believe that there is no ceiling to what our children can achieve and we know that by working in partnership with parents and by modelling a real love of learning we are providing the best possible conditions for each and every one of our children to flourish and ‘soar’ – creatively, spiritually and academically.
Working together is key to the success of your child, and this of course includes our crucial partnership with you as parents. We recognise that education is a joint effort between home and academy, and communication between the two is a key strength, resulting in the strong, caring relationships we enjoy across both the academy family and the trust family.
Our school day starts at 8.45am (school gates are open for children to arrive from 8.30am) and our day finishes at 3.15pm. This equates to 32.5 hours in a typical week.

Everyone is friendly and helpful. The older children help look after the younger children at break and lunch to make sure no-one is left by themselves.
Our children have excellent attitudes towards learning; they are never late and their behaviour in lessons is exemplary.
This is a fabulous school and we could not ask for more.
